Living in the Age of Distraction

I don't think there's any question that our culture is becoming increasingly distracted. It's because of these little machines in our pockets—our connections to the world. Without a doubt, they're packed with amazing technology that hadn't even been imagined 30 years ago. They increase our productivity, but at what cost?

I came across a Joe Kraus talk on how we're creating a culture of distraction. I think it very accurately portrays what our culture has become, and where it's headed.
